Earlier this year, the first DLC for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot released, bringing in familiar faces from the film, Dragon Ball Z Power of Gods (also in the Dragon Ball Super series). A second DLC set mentioned but with very little details. Finally there’s news. According to Bandai Namco EU’s tweet, the second downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot continues from the next film. Bringing in scenes and returning characters from Dragon Ball Z Resurrection ‘F’ (also part of the Dragon Ball Super series). Players will square off against the return of Frieza in his new golden form. Additionally, a mini-card game included in this DLC pack. A bit odd to add a card game into an action, RPG element game but looking at games like Final Fantasy IX, you can just about add any mini games to games. The card game, Dragon Ball Card Fighters looks to aid players on improving their playing for competitions around the world as a Budokai Battle that takes place once a month.
The second DLC, titled A New Power Awakens – Part 2, looks to release this fall. Those with the season pass can grab the extra content soon as it’s available. Players can pick up the season pass for $24.99 USD on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or on Steam. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
