Since the announcement that the PlayStation 4 Spider-Man game would re-release on the PlayStation 5, fans wonder what the developers, Insomniac Games would upgrade. Today, few of those details were revealed.

Three new Spider-Man suits included in the remastered version, one of them being the The Amazing Suit. The other two suits for Peter Parker still remain a mystery for now. The original PlayStation 4 already has a ton of suits, why not add a few more to the pile.

Spider-Man Remastered - New Suit

One of the biggest changes is Peter Parker’s face lift. To get a better match of Peter’s actor Yuri Lowenthal’s facial capture, Ben Jordan’s face model used for the PlayStation 5. Though the new look does seem familiar… is that Tom Holland? An animated view of the new Peter can be seen in the trailer below while talking with his mentor, Otto Octavius.

Other modifications in the game, such as the environment, lighting, skin, eyes, teeth, and hair renders looks to improve the fine details that’ll make the game more super. With the PlayStation 5’s power, Spider-Man Remastered can improve to 60 frames per second (fps). The game’s loading vastly improved but if you wish to see the humorous fast-travel animations, there’s an option to bring them back. The DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will add additional gameplay movement. The improved photo mode from Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be used in the remastered game. Letting players place lights in the environment and the access to the change your Spidey suit when lining up your shot.

Spider-Man Remastered releases on November 12, 2020 for the PlayStation 5. Players can pick up the Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition to receive a digital code of Spider-Man Remastered.
