Since 2003, the Disgaea series sold over 4.5 million copies. After re-releases on various consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch, the Disgaea returns with a new game in 2021, Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny. The NIS team releases a new Disgaea 6 trailer to showcase the series timeline and gameplay action of the upcoming strategy role-playing game (SRPG).

The new trailer shows a bit of new elements such as new team attacks and Super Reincarnation. Adding the option to speed-through battle animations and auto-battle are nice features to have for players. All this and more additions in doses in the latest Disgaea 6 trailer.

Disgaea 6 introduced during September’s Nintendo’s Direct Mini. This is the first of the series to release on a Nintendo console before the PlayStation. Additionally a first to go 3D modeling than the cel-shaded, flat characters. Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny releases summer 2021 on the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders opened for the limited edition on NIS America’s online store and NIS’s Europe store.
