Starting on January 1, 2021, new LEGO Super Mario sets arrive since its original launch earlier in 2020. Similar to LEGO’s starter set, there’s a Master Your Adventure Maker Set for the Super Mario brand. The set lets builders built more customized layouts for Mario and comes in 366 pieces. New expansion sets announced include the Chain Chomp Jungle Encounter Expansion Set, the Piranha Plant Puzzling Challenge Expansion Set, and the Wiggler’s Poison Swamp Expansion Set.
Two new costume sets confirmed for Mario to wear: Penguin Mario Power-Up Pack and the Tanooki Mario Power-Up Pack. Builders can reenact Penguin Mario to slide on his belly or spin around Tanooki Mario. This gives Mario five power-up packs and assuming more to come. No frog suit yet but hopefully sometime in 2021.
Final revealed is the Series 2 of the LEGO Super Mario Character Packs. New characters include these ten characters: Huckit Crab, Spiny Cheep Cheep, Ninji, Foo, Parachute Goomba, Fly Guy, Poison Mushroom, Para-Beetle, Thwimp or a Bone Goomba.
The new LEGO Super Mario sets are compatible with the older set and launches on January 1st, 2021 across LEGO Brand Retail stores, www.LEGO.com and from select leading retailers around the world.
