During the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Sephiroth Presentation, new Mii Fighter costumes announced along with the added character of Sephiroth. Typically for every new fighter announced, a new set of costumes release for Mii Fighters and usually matches with the theme of the new fighter. With Sephiroth, fighters get Final Fantasy VII’s Tifa, Barret, and Aerith character theme costumes. Additionally, Geno from Square Enix’s Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars character costume will make a return to the fighting game. Many fans were hoping Geno would return as a playable character and not a costume for Mii Fighters. Unfortunately that does not look like that’ll happen for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
These extra Mii Fighter costumes releases the same date as Sephiroth, December 22, 2020. The costumes sell for $0.75 USD each. For those who’ve purchased the season pass 2 for the fighting game will still have to pay for these costumes.
