Crash Bandicoot’s next adventure, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time finally came to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020. Questioning if the game would ever come to other consoles and the answer today from Activision, yes. Crash Bandicoot 4 announced for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 12, 2021. PC players also get a chance to play the game in 2021 for $39.99 USD.

Nintendo Switch players can look to purchase the game digitally or physical edition for $39.99 USD. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players will have to cough up $59.99 USD. However, next-gen consoles can receive a free upgrade if already own the original PlayStation 4 or Xbox One game, except those in Japan along with transfer saved data. Visuals on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will improve to 4K at 60fps. Aside from quick loading times, the audio will receive  an upgrade as well to 3D audio. Xbox Series S versions will upscale to 4K.

For the Nintendo Switch, let’s hope the quality remains the same as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version but hey at least it’s portable.
