We already knew the release date for the film thanks to Paramount for April 8, 2022. However a teaser animation released this morning for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 revealed and has a familiar look and sound bit to it. Take a look below.

Those who watched the first film and extra scene at the end, Tails makes his entrance. Miles “Tails” Prower’s signature tails is on the official movie logo. Additionally, a recognizable sound clip in the teaser that’ll catch Sonic fans attention. If you guessed right, it’s the Emerald Hill Zone, the first stage on the classic Sega Genesis game, Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Take a listen.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 video games has some of the best music tracks. Hopefully we’ll get to hear it next year. The Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie releases in theaters on April 8, 2022.
