Monster Hunter March 2021 Digital Event Spills the Details

New info regarding to the next two Monster Hunter games.

Capcom held a special digital event in regards of their two Monster Hunter titles: Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Announced back in September 2020, Monster Hunter Rise looks to add new features to the Nintendo Switch game. Hunters can use the “Switch Skills” for each weapon (14 total) to create unique combos and strategies. While playing multiplayer, the game will automatically adjust the difficulty to help new players who are getting their feet wet. During hunts, players can create tags to search for players or invite them on quests. The tagging system calling itself is called”Hunter Connect” and plans to help matchmaking easier and efficient. Monster Hunter veterans will be eager to see Zinogre and Nargacuga make an appearance in the upcoming game. A second demo drops on the Nintendo eShop on March 11th. Monster Hunter Rise scheduled to release March 26, 2021, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.

Second game detailed in the digital event, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin teased cooperative multiplayer quests for the game but details to come at a later time. Amiibo figures aren’t over yet. Capcom reveals that three amiibo figures are planning to release alongside the game. Those who have save data from Monster Hunter Rise will earn rewards when playing Stories 2. Pre-ordering the game on either for Steam or the Nintendo Switch will grant players a Kamura maiden outfit for Ena. Switch players can earn additional content with the amiibo figures in-hand. Using the Ena, Razewing Ratha and Tsukino amiibo figures, players can unlock three different sets of layered armor and daily bonuses. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin scheduled to release July 9, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
