Demon Turf Announced by Platonic Friends

An action 3D platformer with a bit of Paper Mario.

Platonic Friends, a publishing label led by video game developer Platonic, announced a new platformer game called Demon Turf. This platformer indie title is a hybrid of 3D and 2D, making it feel similar to a Paper Mario game but in an action 3D world and where the character is a 2D designed graphic. The development of the game is led by Fabraz who’s well-known for its big indie game Slime-San, along with additional aid from Platonic Friends. With this team, they look to create a unique 3D platformer this year.

About Demon Turf

Taking the role of Beebz, a mere 1000 year old demon, players must reclaim the numerous “turfs” of the Demon world, defeat the Demon King and claim the throne for themself.

As for a demo, Fabraz will introduce new demos for the game on Steam every Thursday. However, the demo is set as challenge courses, making each week a different level. Make it to the top of the leader board and you can have your personal portrait in the main game. Winners can also receive a limited edition t-shirt.

Demon Turf arrives on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) this summer of 2021. Players can try out the Demon Turf: Trials on Steam.
