Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World Release Date Set for May

Western players can soon play the updated Wonder Boy real soon.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World release date confirmed for western players on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game scheduled to release on May 28 for North America, Europe and Australia, this includes digital and physical editions. The physical edition has some intriguing items and highly suggested to pre-order if you’re thinking of picking the game up to add to your physical library. Additionally the retail version includes the original Monster World IV game and starting price at $48.99 USD / €39.99/ £34.99. The digital version priced at $34.99 / €34.99 / £31.49 when launches end of May. As for PC players, the Steam version launches on June 29th.

The remake of the 1994 Monster World IV is also the first in the series to have voice overs. One of them being Fairouz Ai. Fairouz’s talent was also in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon as Takechiyo, various anime series, and video games. About Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World

Asha, with her companion, Pepelogoo, must free the four spirits confined by evil forces whose origin she discovers throughout her journey. While the story remains true to the original 1994 game it is a full remake of Monster World IV, with cell-shaded 3D graphics and 2D gameplay that stays close to the beloved original, including enhanced visuals and refined play content.
