Since its debut in 2022, Shantae sold over 3 million copies worldwide. With the first initial game released on the Nintendo Switch, Wayforward looks to spread the love with releasing all Shantae games for the PlayStation 5 (PS5), sold separately. Those who have already purchase the PlayStation 4 (PS4) version will receive free upgrades. Those purchasing the game for the first time on the PS5, pricing is expected to be equal to the existing PS4 versions where applicable. Additionally, the original Shantae will be coming both physically and digitally to the PS4. A physical edition for the Shantae games will launch for the PlayStation 5, thanks to the announcing from Limited Run Games during E3.

- Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition — In Shantae’s first full HD adventure, she must thwart a number of villainous plots perpetrated by her greatest foes! Several extra modes are included, offering new play mechanics and modified levels.
- Shantae and the Seven Sirens — New Half-Genie friends, new transformations, and new enemies await as Shantae travels to tropical Paradise Island where a mysterious sunken city lies beneath the waves. Featuring a new collectible Monster Card system and an animated intro by Studio TRIGGER!
