This morning, Nintendo drops a new Metroid Dread trailer but this one brings back an old nemesis Metroid fans haven’t seen in awhile, Kraid. Last time the big lizard made an appearance, Super Metroid on the Super Nintendo. Kraid was to make a return in Metroid Prime but never happened.

Aside from a warm welcome back from an old nemesis, Samus has her hands full with an armored humanoid figure. Before it looks like a defeat for our hero, something appears to awaken…

That part will have to wait another time. Metroid Dread releases on the Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2021.
