An Updated Version of Corpse Party Announced for Consoles and PC

Celebrate Halloween early with a classic horror game.

The original 1996 Corpse Party, a horror genre game series, is receiving an update and expansion. This newer version announced for consoles and PC will release days before Halloween for $19.99 USD. The game will retain its 16-bit style but with additional content and updated audio. The 2021 version will have 16 “Extra Chapters” that’ll expand the series and fully voiced in Japanese, first time in the West. In the new chapters, they’ll expand the relationship between series favorites Ayumi and Yoshiki. Additionally, introducing Miku Shirayume and Ryoka Iwami, two brand new characters while uncovering the grisly legend of Heavenly Host Elementary.

The 2021 version of Corpse Party announced for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC releases on October 20, 2021. The game will receive a special discount for a limited time for all consoles and PC. Owners of either the original Corpse Party or Corpse Party (2021) on Steam can purchase the alternate version of the game with a 25% discount.
