Since launching its first teaser in the summer, Turning Red‘s official trailer is finally here. The trailer introduces more background about Mei Lee (voiced by Rosalie Chiang) and her school friends. Additionally, the trailer reveals a piece of Mei Lee’s family history and the connection with the mystical red pandas. Turning into a giant red panda apparently is a family quirk. Mei will have to learn how to keep her emotions in-check to prevent herself turning into a red panda in the middle of school and to the public.
