A new Rurouni Kenshin anime announced during Jump Festa over the weekend. The teaser shows a glimpse of the protagonist, Kenshin Himura, in his new design but with very little detail. The anime series first aired from 1996 to 1998, ending on a rough note with a filler arc. With series like Shaman King getting a reboot, it’s great to see the return of the Battousai the Manslayer back on the screen. Anime fans will have to wait a little longer on new details.

The official Japanese website launched and expect more details to surface in 2022. In the meantime, you can read the manga on the Shonen Jump app.
