Crunchyroll, one of the popular anime streaming services, is now available on the Nintendo Switch. Subscribers of the service or those going to can download the app on the Nintendo eShop. The app is powered by Epic Games’ Unreal Engine and will offer offline viewing. The Crunchyroll app becomes the first streaming application to offer offline viewing on the Switch. And yes the app can be played between docked and handheld mode.

Funimation, another anime streaming service, released their app back in December 2020. While it took some time, anime fans can finally use their Crunchyroll service on their Nintendo Switch.
