MLB The Show Coming to the Nintendo Switch the First Time

There’s a catch.

MLB The Show coming to the Nintendo Switch for the first time. The series made its first appearance on Xbox last year, next up bat is the Nintendo Switch. Those who don’t have a Xbox or PlayStation console, this is great for baseball fans for Switch players. Cross play, cross save and progression available in this year’s MLB The Show. All of the game’s main core modes are included in the Switch. Unfortunately Switch players will miss out some gameplay that’s available on other consoles.

The Switch version for MLB The Show 22 plays at 30 fps (frames per second), stadium creator is not supported on the console, and no motion control support. If you want to the stadium creator, it’s a next-gen (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S) feature only. Regards to space, the baseball game will eat up about 20 GB of data. When playing on handheld mode, the resolution is reduced to improve performance and battery life.

MLB The Show 22 releases on April 5, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
