The Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma and the Nintendo team posted an update regards to the next Zelda game since its last update in summer 2021. Unfortunately it’s not the best news but is anyone surprised? The Breath of the Wild sequel delayed to spring 2023. Giving more time to developers to work on the game.

The 2017 Breath of the Wild also received delays, originally to release exclusively on the Wii U. However that changed and also released on the Nintendo Switch as a launch title. Could we see the same situation with the Breath of the Wild sequel? Probably not but players will have to wait a little longer to continue Link’s story.

The announcement video showcased a few snippets that’ll make fans ponder for months. What happened to the Master Sword? Is the Triforce involved somehow? Hopefully this year we’ll get some answers.
