After releasing on the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, Ys VIII returns on the PlayStation 5. It’s surprising how much multiple console releases this game is receiving. Especially having to re-do localization after its initial launch on the Vita and PlayStation 4. Additionally with the PlayStation 5 backwards compatible with PlayStation 4 games, there isn’t enough information what’s updated. Sure it’ll be in 4K resolution at 60fps but is it worth it? For those who missed the boat (no pun attended), it’s another opportunity to ride along this classic RPG.

Ys VIII will also receive a limited edition set for PlayStation 5 players. Another chance for those who didn’t grab earlier console versions. This bundle includes the following:
