Action, role-playing game (RPG), Toasty: Ashes of Dusk surpasses 300% funding as it approaches its last week on Kickstarter. The game started off looking for $25k but easily reached its goal in 3 hours. Now the game sits at just over $85k with a week to go and new goals added to its Kickstarter project. If the project reaches $100k, full animated cutscenes, more music and non-playable characters (NPCs) added. At $120k, another set of animation, music, and NPCs added to the game. Finally at $150k, Toasty will have a new playable area. It’s a stretch but they just pull it off!

Toasty: Ashes of Dusk developed by a small indie studio called Pocket Llama and published by Top Hat Entertainment. Toasty, inspired by many popular RPG games such as Pokemon, Final Fantasy VII, and Link’s Awakening, looks to put a name for itself when it releases in late 2023. Players can pick up the game for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam). A physical edition for the Nintendo Switch is also in the works.
