TMNT Shredder’s Revenge Brings Back Original 1987 Cartoon Voice Actors

A physical edition announced too.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge received some spotlight over at PAX East and not only did fans get more gameplay action but a surprise for those who enjoyed the original 1987 cartoon series. Shredder’s Revenge is bringing back the original 1987 cartoon voice actors. Additionally, after the digital version releases this summer, a physical edition will release.

Newly recorded voices from the original cast were made for this game. Cam Clarke returning as Leonardo, Townsend Coleman as Michelangelo, Barry Gordon as Donatello, and Rob Paulsen as Raphael. Bringing back the nostalgia of the Saturday morning cartoon. It’s unfortunate with the passing of James Avery in 2013, that we won’t have new, original lines for Shredder. Regards to Splinter and April O’Neil having their roles reprised is unknown at this point.

After its digital release, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will release physical editions, thanks to Limited Run Games in the U.S., Merge Games in Europe, Happinet Corporation in Japan, and H2 Interactive across Asia.
If you happen to be at PAX East, attendees can try out the next Ninja Turtles game at the Dotemu booth (booth no. #12043) on the expo hall floor from April 21 – 24. Fans can visit the game’s official website for more info. Six playable characters available to play, who will you pick?
