When first announced, Rabbit & Bear Studios did not announced what Nintendo console their upcoming role-playing game would come out on. The wait is over. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes announced for the Nintendo Switch and releasing in 2023.
Based on the Kickstarter page, Rabbit & Bear Studios had the following to say in regards of announcing the Switch now instead of earlier:
That’s right! Given recent speculation over the Nintendo Switch and potential next generation Nintendo iterations, we wanted to play it safe and investigate what options we had before fully committing to a Nintendo Switch version.
But now the wait is over and we’re delighted to confirm that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will also be landing on Nintendo Switch!
There you have it folks. Those wanting the successor of Suikoden to come out on the Switch can rest easy.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes releases on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2023.
