After its original release, fans have asked why aren’t the original character voices in the Smash Bros like game, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. After seeing how Smash Bros. and the upcoming Warner Bros.’ MultiVersus have voice overs for their characters, Nickelodeon responded with a free update to have their own voice-overs. Finally, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl adds voice-overs from the authentic actors.
Tom Kenny returns to voice SpongeBob, Billy West voicing Ren & Stimpy, Frank Welker as Garfield, Janet Barney voicing Korra and more. PlayStation Plus subscribers can pick up the fighting game for free starting June 7th and till the end of the month. The timing couldn’t be perfect for cartoon fans to pick this one out and give a test spin. Unfortunately you’ll have to purchase the DLC if you want to play as Jenny “XJ-9” Wakeman, Hugh Neutron (summer release), and Rocko (fall release).
Additionally with the voice-overs, battle items are available for fighters to use. This means you can finally fight with Krabby Patties, a Reptar toy and Log from Balmmo.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl available now for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Additional information available on the game’s official website.
