Cyberpunk 2077 had a rough start, especially after its broken console launch in 2020. Fast forward to 2022, the game made its jump to next-gen consoles and an anime season will launch this year on Netflix, titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Revealing its first-look, this Cyberpunk 2077 anime trailer looks promising and a safe bet to enjoy as Studio Trigger (Little Witch Academia, Kill la Kill, Shantae and the Seven Sirens opening) is behind the animation for this series.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners expands the world of Night City with lots of explosions, action, and violent combat. Whether you’re a fan of anime or the world of Cyberpunk, Edgerunners looks promising enough to jump into. Additionally, you can watch this Cyberpunk 2077 anime on older consoles. Phew.
