With the popular anime taking a hiatus since March 30, 2021, the popular series is slated to release its first animated film. The Black Clover movie released its first trailer and announced to stream on Netflix starting March 31, 2023. A landing page of the film already live on Netflix’s website. It seems more streaming companies are picking up anime films and series. With the recent announcement that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War heading to Hulu (Disney+ internationally), there’s certainly a market value for anime.
Black Clover‘s film, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, is a new story that’s separated from the original manga. Asta, born without magic that’s essential in the world of Black Clover, takes on a new threat.
