Much like the announcement of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana coming to the PlayStation 5, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox gets the same treatment, releasing to the PlayStation 5. Ys IX originally released on the PlayStation 4 early 2021 in western countries then later in the year for the Nintendo Switch and PC. The game will receive a new platform release in 2023. The role-playing game (RPG) is an enjoyable title with a great soundtrack that RPG fans should play.
