The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Release Coming to Theaters

North America theaters early December.

The Quintessential Quintuplets became a popular anime series when first debut in 2021. It receive a second season in 2021 along with an official theater film which released in Japan in May 2022. The film grossed over $16.4 million at the Japanese box office. The manga, released in 2019 has sold over 16 million copies in 2022. The Quintessential Quintuplets movie releases in most areas across the world this year. Unfortunately this excludes Asia and Middle East. Theater dates for the following regions and territories listed below:

  • October 31st in Italy as a special event screening

  • November 3th & 4th in France as a limited release

  • November 18th & 19th in Spain

  • December 1st in Australia and New Zealand

  • December 2nd in the U.S. and Canada

  • December 7th & 8th in the U.K. and Ireland

  • March 28, 2023 in Germany

  • Early 2023 in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic and Hungary

Crunchyroll not only bringing the film to a worldwide theater release, they also announced the English voice cast. This includes Lindsay Seidel voicing oldest sister Ichika Nakano, Jill Harris voicing second sister Nino Nakano, Felecia Angelle voicing third sister Miku Nakano, Bryn Apprill voicing fourth sister Yotsuba Nakano, Tia Ballard voicing fifth sister Itsuki Nakano, Josh Grelle voicing character of Futaro Uesugi with Terri Doty voicing the younger character of Futaro.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Synopsis

When five lovely young girls who hate studying hire part-time tutor Futaro, he guides not only their education but also their hearts. Time spent has brought them all closer, with feelings growing within the girls and Futaro. As they finish their third year of high school and their last school festival approaches, they set their sights on what’s next. Is there a future with one of them and Futaro?
