Tales of Symphonia Remastered Release Date Announced

Return to Sylvarant in February.

Revealed first during Nintendo’s September 2022 direct, Tales of Symphonia Remastered release date officially announced, February 17, 2023. The 2003 game will release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will be compatible to newer generation consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The enhanced version will feature a “couch co-op” local multiplayer for up to four players. Players will still enjoy returning to the world of Sylvarant with Lloyd Irving and his friends. During a Q&A session with the production team, the game will carry features from the Japan-only release of Tales of Symphonia Chronicles that launched for the PlayStation 3. This includes party costumes, Compound Unison Attacks, and Mystic Artes. Additionally, the remastered will include two different opening themes and the option to toggle between Japanese and English voice overs.

A limited edition, “Chosen Edition” available for pre-order on the Bandai Namco store site. Retailing for $49.99 USD, this includes the base game in its original console case, a metalcase, art prints, and stickers.
