Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- Theater Announcement

Three episodes in one theater length.

Popular anime series Demon Slayer is coming back in 2023. Before entering its third season, a special screening will occur in March. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- theater announcement was made to showcase the new arc. However, the film won’t be treated like it it’s previous arc and film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, which made a ton of revenue last year. Instead, the short theater run will showcase the last two episodes of the last arc, The Entertainment District, and the first episode of the next arc, To the Swordsmith Village. The film will be in 4K with remastered audio.

This special event will tour worldwide starting a two-day event in Tokyo, followed by events in Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, Mexico City, Seoul, and Taipei. Los Angeles will receive the first theater showing in the US on February 18, 2023. Tickets will go on sale at ticketmaster.com on January 7, 2023. The film will then release throughout the US and Canada beginning Friday, March 3, 2023 both Japanese with English subtitles, as well as dubbed in English.

Demon Slayer anime series is available on Crunchyroll. The first season available on Netflix. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- theater release will screen across the US and Canada beginning March 3, 2023.
