Originally released on the PlayStation 2 in Japan-only, Akai Ito & Aoi Shiro received a HD remaster for the Nintendo Switch. The games launched for the Nintendo eShop on May 25, 2023, making it the first time these two games translated in English. The visual novel games are getting extra treatment. Akai Ito & Aoi Shiro HD Remaster limited edition announced for physical edition fans. There are three options (one being an art print) to choose from and quantity are limited on Strictly Limited Games, pre-orders are open. These editions are set to ship Q4 of 2023.
