During the latest Pokémon Presents, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will receive two familiar legendary Pokémon. Mew and Mewtwo arrive during a special event, titled “Get Mew & Mewtwo!” for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. The event starts now, August 8th and runs until September 18th. To get Mew, enter the following password in the Mystery Gift menu in either Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet: GETY0URMEW. This level 5 Mew will only be available until Monday, September 18, 2023, at 7:59 a.m. PDT.

To have Mewtwo on your team, you’ll have to battle the legendary Pokémon in a Tera Raid Battle that starts Friday, September 1st until Sunday, September 17th. If you challenge Mewtwo with Mew on your team, the Pokémon Company indicates be “ready for something special”. Take this moment to beef-up your Mew before the legendary battle in September. Players can join additional Tera Raid Battles this month to earn special items. Just like Mew, Mewtwo can only be caught once per save data.
