Japan-only 2005 arcade exclusive is finally coming to Western shores. Spica Adventure announced to release in 2024. Physical edition pre-orders open on November 14, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles only.
In Spica Adventure, players will rely on Nico’s umbrella, a resemblance to another game, Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III (coming to consoles in 2023). Using the umbrella will help Nico in tricky situations that’ll allow players to charge at enemies, float through the air, spring off walls, and reflect incoming bullets. However, players will race against the clock as a screen-filling robot will pursue Nico if you spend too much time on the level.
