Last week’s State of Play covered a number of titles but also teased a separate presentation for upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. A special, 20 minute State of Play aired sole for the upcoming role-playing game (RPG). Giving a closer glimpse of the open exploration where players can visit many regions from Cosmo Canyon, Gongaga, and more. Additionally, there’s more mini games to play such as a card game called “Queen’s Blood” and play the piano at Nibelheim. Players can revisit areas if you miss out on sections in the game. Also, the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo now live to download on your PlayStation 5.

The demo takes place in Cloud’s flashback when visiting Nibelheim. After completing the “Fall of a Hero in Nibelheim” demo, there’ll be another chapter to play called “Daen of a New Era in Junon”. This takes place in the peaceful fishing town that veteran Final Fantasy players will remember. Expect to play the marching drill mini game in this demo. Those who have save data from the demo will receive the Kup Charm and Survival Set accessories in the full game. Also, players can skip the flashback section of the game if you’ve completed the “Fall of a Hero in Nibelheim” demo.
