Beloved 1990s anime series comes back after a long hibernation. Celebrating 35 years, a Samurai Pizza Cats video game announced to release on consoles and PC in 2026.
The anime first aired in Japan on February 1990, titled as Kyatto Ninden Teyandee. A year later, the anime aired in the west, localized under a new name, Samurai Pizza Cats. The English casts includes Rick Jones (Speedy Cerviche), Sonja Ball (Polly Esther), Terrence Scammell (Guido Anchovy, Narrator) and Dean Hagopian returning as Seymour “The Big” Cheese. The Japanese cast includes Kappei Yamaguchi (Yattarou), Ai Orikasa (Pururun), Ikuya Sawaki (Kitsunezuka Ko’on-no-Kami), Naoki Tatsuta (Karasu Gennarisai) and Kenyu Horiuchi (Narrator).
