Months after it’s teaser, Nintendo delivers an hour of presentation from Nintendo’s Direct on Wednesday morning, there’s a lot of consume and more Nintendo Switch 2 details emerged afterwards. Let’s go over them.

According to Nintendo, the Nintendo Switch 2 priced at $449.99 USD and comes with the following items inside:

  • Nintendo Switch 2 console
  • Joy-Con 2 controllers (L+R)
  • Joy-Con 2 Grip
  • Joy-Con 2 Straps
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Dock
  • Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable
  • Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter
  • USB-C Charging Cable

Nintendo is also selling a bundle with Mario Kart World, the latest Mario Kart game, as a digital download for $499.99 USD. This is much more than the original Nintendo Switch’s launch that was priced at $299.99 USD. The Switch 2 does come with more power, here’s what’s revealed:

  • 7.9-inch built-in LCD screen that displays in full HD at 1080p
  • HDR support
  • Can go up to 120fps (frames per second)
  • 4K resolution option when docked
  • Switch 2 dock has coolant fan
  • Joy-Con 2 controllers attached magnetically
  • Larger controller sticks
  • Joy-Con 2 new feature: mouse control
  • Spatial 3D sound
  • Built-in microphone
  • 2 USB-C ports (bottom, top)
  • Internal storage of 256 GB
  • Adjustable stand for handheld mode
  • Amiibo support
  • Backwards compatible with Nintendo Switch games
  • GameChat
    • Share screen and chat with four additional players at the same time
  • GameShare
    • local play with other Nintendo Switch consoles without game

Nintendo also revealed accessories such as the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera ($49.99 USD) and the Switch 2 Pro Controller ($79.99 USD). These items are sold separately and more details can be found on the official website.
