Nouvelle Vague announced to arrive in selected theaters on Halloween and Netflix mid-November. Directed by Richard Linklater, Nouvelle Vague the film is shot in a 4:3 aspect ratio, in black and white colors, and in French language to capture the time of 1959 Paris.  The film made an appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, located in Cannes, France.
