Two classic video game characters will have their games pushed out this fall, Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. However, a surprise collaboration was announced from Bandai Namco and Sega. Sonic and Pac-Man collide in each other’s games as upcoming DLC.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac will receive a new area called “Rolling Around on the Island” that is inspired of the famous “Green Hill Zone” from Sonic the Hedgehog games and two more to come. This DLC set to release in late 2025. You’ll have Pac-Man chasing rings and using similar mechanics of the popular blue hedgehog games. Additional costumes for Pac-Man will have your yellow friend look like Sonic. In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Pac-Man will be available as a special guest character to drive come early 2026.

Both playable on the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
