Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was the king in 2022 with $10.9 million. Here are the now the top five anime films on opening day:

Infinity Castle is already outpacing Pokémon: The First Movie – Mewtwo Strikes Back‘s opening weekend that’s at $31 million and on track to beat it’s all-time domestic gross at $85.7 million.
