Dragon Ball Super‘s anime ended its run in 2018. Fans have cried for more and after a long wait, fans are getting their wish. During the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event, a special video was shown of many of Akira Toriyama’s popular illustrations with animation. Those who have grown up with the series, it’s a splash of nostalgia and eye candy. At the end, a special animation showing Goku, the protagonist of the series, flying towards the camera and a new illustration that revealed a new anime arc is coming to the Dragon Ball Super anime. The new chapter, Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol is in production. More details on the new animation and air time to come at a later date.

Those who have kept up with the original manga, the series will jump into a new story that takes place after the events of the Universal Survival arc. A new, powerful foe and familiar faces will make their appearance in this new season. Dragon Ball fans rejoice!
