With the success of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S, it was only a matter of time before the next entry was to come, but a lot sooner than expected! Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S announced to release on June 3rd. Like Intergrade, Rebirth will have the option for players to utilize the Streamlined Progression, this will also be added to the existing PlayStation 5 and PC versions as a free update. Additionally, the lightning updates made on the PC version will be released on the PlayStation 5 version. All to come out the same day as the Switch 2 and Xbox Series X editions, June 3rd.

Pre-orders of both consoles are now open and available on the Square Enix Store or at selected retail stores. Those who pre-order the physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition will receive one Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy Zack Fair card featuring variant art by Tetsuya Nomura, while supplies last.
