Based on our review, it’s a spectacular soundtrack that’s “cosmic and emotional, fitting the film’s theme”. While the film didn’t win many of the film critics, Nintendo fans and the young audience will enjoy the film’s delivery.

For physical edition collectors, iam8bit is collaborating with Nintendo and Universal Studios to release a vinyl, CD, and cassette tape version of the film’s soundtrack. These items are now available to pre-order on iam8bit’s online store. iam8bit’s online edition is exclusive to the Bowser Jr.’s purple paint theme as retailers will receive the Mario red and Luigi green colors. Shipping expect to start in Q3 2026. Pre-orders close on May 4, 2026.
