Originally released exclusively in Japan in 1999, 70’s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X is making its debut to western countries in July for all available platforms. The retro style game is a fusion between arcade side-scrolling shooter and 1970s giant robot anime. Luckily for you the 70’s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X demo is now available to play on consoles and PC.

In the demo, players can experience a full restored HD animation, with the ability to toggle with the original animation if you prefer the classic feel. The demo also includes original Japanese voice performers  along with side-scrolling shooter gameplay with real-time mech transformations. Geppy-X will include accessibility options such as rewind functionality,  quick save and load features, and additional improvements.

The 70’s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X demo available now on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam. A Nintendo eShop not available yet. The retro arcade game is set to launch on July 16, 2026 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam).
