Bandai Namco has announced that Once Upon a Katamari for the Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive on October 8th. The Switch 2 version comes with a few upgrades such as exclusive mouse controls, smoother framerate, and enhanced graphics. Those who already own the Nintendo Switch version can transfer their save data to the Switch 2 version for free. It’s a delightful game to jump into if you have not played it yet.

Additionally, a new set of DLC will launch the same time, this will have a price tag and will release on all platforms. The set titled “Rolling LIVE Highlights” will include 10 new quests, 12 new songs, 6 new cousins, 18 new accessories.

Once Upon a Katamari for the Nintendo Switch 2 and new DLC arrives on October 8, 2026. The game is available now for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
