The animation special retells the story of the original Disney+ series, The Mandalorian, but in LEGO format. A special party is thrown, and the side characters from the popular series share their experiences and stories about the two famous characters, Mandalorian and Grogu. Makes the series into a fun and comical experience using LEGOs. The audience will feel as if they are watching a shorter version of the original series with some changes to fit in a kid’s show. For example, they fit multiple episodes into a 45 minute show and made it funny.

When they are telling the story, the Mandalorian keeps trying to leave but decides not to because all the people who came to the party. He acts like a tough guy but has a soft spot. Additionally, the Mandalorian and a few other characters make fun of some of the words used in the movies and the show such as “The Force” and “Baby Yoda.” The film also includes humor which is good for kids and adults.

When watching the show, the voice actors are more expressive and lively. For example, the Mandalorian sounds tough with a deep voice. Another example is the bad guys act overly confident thinking they will win against the Mandalorian, but they actually are weak and run away instantly.

It feels like it could be longer because people will want to see more details in the story of how they got all of the friends at the party. Compared to one of the original episodes, it’s only twenty minutes longer.

The animation used in LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian has stop-motion which is fun to watch. It has the same style of the other popular LEGO films and shows. The special effects are cool when the light sabers shoot and shake. With the lighting effects, as well as the lasers from the weapons. The film also pokes fun at the use of “pew pew” during some battles. As for the music, it’s relaxing and exactly the same from the original Disney+ series.

The Final Piece

LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian is a really good special animation feature if you enjoy LEGO animations mixed with Star Wars and goofy dialogues.
