The tipsy roguelike survival game made headways when first announced made it as the top 100 most wishlisted unreleased games on Steam with more than 500,000 wishlists. Today, Drunken Goddess Reflux release date announced to come to Steam on Tuesday, December 8th.
A demo of the game is set to release at the Steam Next Fest, beginning Monday, October 19th.
About Drunken Goddess Reflux
Femme Soule, the demon of alcohol, awaits you at Pandemonium, Hell’s very own bar. Step into a deadly game of Russian roulette fueled by infernal liquor, and imbibe to survive a demon in search of a soulmate with supernaturally high alcohol tolerance.
Yet Femme Soule does not intend to inflict eternal suffering. She’s actually in love, and love makes people do crazy things – and that goes double for the demonic denizens of Hell. She believes that you, desperate to escape reality, would be happier living with her in hell. You feel differently. Drink, drink, and drink again, doing whatever it takes to stay conscious as long as possible.
This boozy battle has eternal consequences! Every sip of alcohol served brings both of you closer to vomiting out your soul. Implement devious drunken tricks to bend the rules, even if it means driving an ice pick into your own hand, using the pain to shake off a drunken stupor.
Drink Femme Soule under the table and make her lose her lunch first to return to reality, or upchuck your very essence and prepare for a happily-ever-afterlife (for Femme Soule, not you) in Hell.
Fuyuki Hayashi, head developer of Alliance Arts, had the following to say about the positive response of the game:
The overwhelming community response to everything we have shown for Drunken Goddess Reflux has been nothing short of amazing. With Steam Next Fest around the corner, everyone can finally get a taste with the debut demo, and to lend their voice to development as we approach launch in December.
Drunken Goddess Reflux release date set for December 8, 2026 on PC (Steam). A demo scheduled to launch on October 19, 2026. Fans can wishlist the game on the official Steam page.
