Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition Pre-Registration

Now Open for Android

A few months back, Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition, a cuter version than it’s console counterpart for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. An announcement was made this morning from Square Enix that pre-registration is open for Android users on the Google Play store here: http://sqex.to/FFXV_PocketEdition_Android

iOS users will have to wait as no announcement has been made for that platform. Final Fantasy XV: Pocket edition will support iPhones and iPads running on iOS 11.1 or later, Android devices running on Android 5.0 or later. Square Enix also released a new trailer to promote the mobile game, which you can view below.

The game will have 10 episodes, first one free and the remaining $3.99 per episode. You can purchase the entire set for $19.99 (before taxes). Saving you around $15.92 (before taxes).

Despite the characters looking cuter, the gameplay looks to be similar to the original console version. While intentions from Square Enix is to drive people to play Final Fantasy XV on the go, it’s certainly a cash-grab. With a game like this, it’s surprising it hasn’t been announced for the Nintendo Switch.

No launch date has been made as it is expected to release this year.
