First impressions, Monmusu Girls: Autobattler is an indie, free-to-play auto-battler role-playing game (RPG) developed by meowspirit. This anime-inspired art style title is easy enough to jump into and provides a good amount of depth for strategic battles.

Gotta Collect Them All

The game is set in a fantasy world where you must save the world from the resurrected Demon King. As the leader, you’ll need a team to help achieve your goal. In Monmusu Girls, you’ll collect and upgrade over fourty unique female characters that represent monsters such as a centaur, a female with the top of a human and the bottom of a horse. Each character is vibrantly illustrated, detailed, and revealing. With mature-themed artwork that caters to fanservice.

In Monmusu Girls: Autobattler, you’ll need to create a team that can overcome multiple scenarios. It may take some trial and error to get the right team set up but don’t stick with one lineup all the time, as some fighters may not be the best choice against certain enemies. Your strategic thinking will need to come into play to overcome these challenges and give your fighters the opportunity to evolve.

As the name suggests, battles are automatically played, and as the leader, you give commands and watch your team fight against enemies. After winning, collect your rewards for a hard earned victory. You can also freely travel on the map and select areas to battle or continue the game’s storyline.

The Final Strike

Monmusu Girls: Autobattler is still in development, with a release date yet to be announced. For those who can’t wait, players can pick up the game on their Android devices on Google Play. Overall, the indie game presents a unique way of role-playing with its vibrant illustrations and strategic battles.

The game was played on the Steam Deck and a demo available to play on the official Steam page.
