Team Behind Steam Port of Chrono Trigger Says They’re Listening

How much will be fixed and when?

Square Enix has surprised a lot of people by porting the classic RPG, Chrono Trigger to Stream. Yay! However, the port is only available for a limited time till April 2, 2018. While a lot of fans are excited about the port to play on their PC, many were not too keen about the issues.

The game is ported from its early mobile port; using awful menu styles, washed-out sprites. The sprite cleanup used is the exact style used for Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI for mobile and that too received negative feedbacks. The mobile port on Steam is priced at a heavy price for $14.99.

After pushing out classics and failing on impressing fans, Square Enix hasn’t learned until recently, the team behind Chrono Trigger left a message on Steam that they are listening and looking into fixing the issues.

While this is great news, it still raises questions. How much will be fixed? How long? Remember, the Steam port is only available until April 2, 2018.

Chrono Trigger is available on Steam until April 2, 2018 for $14.99. You can pick up the game on iTunes and Android for $9.99. The game is also available PSN store for the PlayStation 3 and the better version (our opinion) for the Nintendo DS.
