Capcom has officially released a trailer for Mega Man (Rock Man) X Legacy Collection pack 1 and 2, coming out for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. After announcing the game on a live stream in December and ratings went up in Australia on February, Capcom has been quiet until the announced was made through Famitsu magazine in Japan today.

The Legacy Collection, celebrating 25 years of Mega Man X (30 years of Mega Man) will be in two packs. Mega Max X Legacy Collection 1 will included Mega Man X1 – X4 games, Collection 2 will include X5 – X8 games. The collection set will also include the “X Challenge” mode where you as the player will fight against a mixture of boss characters from all eight Mega Man X games. The mode will also have boss characters tag-team against the players. Capcom has made adjustments to the graphics for all eight X games but also give the option to turn them on/off. Either Capcom listened to its fans or have notice the trouble Square Enix received from releasing Chrono Trigger on Steam.

The collection will also include a museum mode, showcasing lots of Mega Man X goodies. You can view all the artwork from the X series in the museum’s gallery, a music player to listen to those sweet, sweet tracks of the series, a goods catalog that showcases merchandise, a PV Theater, and a short animated film of “The Day of Sigma,” the exact title that came out originally on the Mega Man Maverick Hunter X on PSP (PlayStation Portable).

During the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Steam back in December, Capcom announced that the Mega Man X Legacy Collection would release in the summer of 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. Releases in Japan on July 26 , 2018, both packs releasing simultaneously. No release date set for western countries yet. You can bet that Capcom will announce a date soon after this new trailer was released, along with the Famitsu scans. The trailer can be viewed below and you’ll want to check it out! Also, Capcom has released lots of screenshots, promotion arts, which can be viewed in our gallery below! The official website is also open too.
