Kill la Kill, a popular Japanese animation (anime) series is getting its own fighting game and it’s about time after the series ended in 2014. The game for now being titled Kill la Kill: The Game is developed by APLUS, previously worked on Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, along with Arc System Works, previously worked on Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear, and BlazBlue series, will be publishing the game.
While the official website has launched (with six different languages), there isn’t much aside from a few screenshots, a promotional graphic, and an announcement trailer. Information on platforms, confirmed release date (tentative for 2019), and the game itself is still unknown. However, the site does mention that more info will be released during Anime Expo 2018, one of the largest anime conventions in the United States that’ll take place from July 5th to the 8th.
We’re going to take a guess this will release on the PlayStation 4, until then, enjoy the screenshots and teaser below! Kill la Kill: The Game is set for a 2019 release window.
